You cannot drop your caloric intake too far, or you won't have the energy to exercise, and possibly even do your body harm. It's important you drop your caloric intake anywhere from 500 to 700 fat calories a day. This will initiate your body burning the fat for glucose, and this is what you need to do in order to lose fat. Once you've decided on a diet, then make sure you change it up a bit, and give yourself a break once in a while. Changing a diet and exercise routine over a month's time is much better than trying to hurry up, change everything, and then fall off the wagon.
